"Go get them Nick." And with that Wednesday tweet, President Trump made clear which side he favors in a lawsuit accusing the Washington Post of smearing the MAGA hat-wearing teenager involved in last month's confrontation at the Lincoln Memorial, per Politico—though Trump's aversion to the Post was far from in doubt. "The Washington Post ignored basic journalistic standards because it wanted to advance its well-known and easily documented biased agenda against President Donald J. Trump," he quoted from the defamation suit filed on behalf of Nick Sandmann of Kentucky's Covington Catholic High School, which seeks more than the Post's purchase price. (It's not the first time Trump has shown support for Covington students.)
