Warner Bros. is suing a Swiss manufacturer over its latest product: “Harry Popper” condoms, which come bearing an image of a bespectacled purple phallus twirling a wand and sticking out his tongue. “Our product has nothing to do with Harry Potter,” a company spokesman tells the Guardian.

Warner Bros. isn't buying that. They're suing the company, which is called Magic X, in Swiss court. "The image of my client is in danger," said a studio lawyer. "Everyone who sees the condoms automatically thinks of Harry Potter." The suit is reminiscent of Warner Bros. action against the Bollywood film Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Terrors. That suit failed, with an Indian judge saying that few would confuse Harry and Hari.
