Always-funny Tina Fey quipped yesterday that the Sarah Palin phenomenon might be her fault because John McCain was gazing at a photo of Fey before he picked the then-Alaska gov to be his running mate. But seriously, folks, she thanked Palin for the opportunity to skewer her near look-alike and boost her career as she accepted the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center last night. Fey, 40, is the youngest and the third woman to win the award, which was created 12 years ago. But the next winner might not be able to enjoy the Kennedy Center as it exists today, Fey warned. It's soon to become the "Tea Party bowling alley and rifle range," she noted.
