George Steinbrenner won’t be heading to baseball’s Hall of Fame—at least not this year. Only one candidate on this year’s ballot made it in: Pat Gillick, former general manager of the Toronto Blue Jays and three other teams. Gillick, 73, was selected on 13 of 16 ballots, with 12 needed to get in. Steinbrenner, the late New York Yankees owner, was chosen on fewer than 8, the New York Times reports.
