Rush: Who Cares About Journalist Attacks in Egypt?

...or, at least, who cares about 'New York Times' reporters?

For some reason, Rush Limbaugh isn’t particularly worried about the journalists being systematically attacked in Egypt. “It is being breathlessly reported that the Egyptian army is rounding up foreign journalists,” Rush said, in a segment caught by Mediaite. "Now this is supposed to make us feel what exactly? Are we supposed to feel outrage? I don’t feel any outrage. Are we supposed to feel anger? Do we feel happy? Well—do we feel kinda going like 'nyah-nyah-nyah!'"

Yes, that was a school-yard style taunting noise. Rush doesn’t make it especially clear why he takes such delight in these attacks—maybe because the New York Times was involved. But later on in his show he changed his tune, after hearing that Greg Palkot of Fox News had been attacked and beaten. "We were kidding before about the New York Times and stuff," Rush said. "This kind of thing is terrible, we wouldn’t wish this stuff even on reporters." (More Rush Limbaugh stories.)
