Revenge is a dish best served cold

If you're going to steal from a neighbor, you should probably avoid the one who owns a surveillance company. A neighbor stole Chicagoan David Welles' snow shovel, but his house is under total video surveillance provided by his company, Tunnel Vision Technology, the Chicago Tribune reports. Upon discovering the theft, he checked his video logs and found a record of the neighborly crime.

He says he would've gladly let the neighbor borrow it had she asked. Plus, it was personal: his 2-year-old was getting mighty upset waiting for daddy to finish the igloo he'd promised. So he took revenge: He got his snowblower and covered her car in snow. It took the culprit four hours to dig out before work. And he posted the whole ordeal to YouTube. (See video in the gallery.)
