It wasn't the crime of the century: Pennsylvania police say Daniel Rahynes handed over his driver's license to a bank teller in order to open an account, but whoops!, said he changed his mind and was actually there to rob the bank. The 35-year-old made off in a getaway car with what tellers described as a small amount of cash, but hit a car just a few blocks away, the Patriot-News reports.
The car kept going, and Rahynes was arrested later that afternoon on suspicion of driving under the influence after a second crash. State troopers on that scene saw the warrant for Rahynes, arrested him and turned him over to Harrisburg cops. Click here for more on criminals who leave dumb things behind.
