Jon Stewart razzed reporters in a segment last night, kicking things off by poking at Nancy Grace, whose arguments about the radiation threat the US faces from Japan unraveled into an argument about how "there is no such thing as magic." But she is not the media story of the hour: The "title match was an inter-network brawl featuring the aging former champion CNN versus the young kidney-punching upstart Fox." He takes a swing at Fox, who didn't send reporters to the bomb site over concerns they would be used as human shields, saying, "Only they can turn 'our guy missed the shuttle bus' into 'Fox News alone refuses to play patsy to America's enemies.'"
But wait! Fox did send someone, a security guard with a camera. Fox reporter Steve Harrigan "made security guard Joey Expendable go. Hey, Joey! You know how you always said you wanted to be a real live reporter? Well how about just a reporter?" But CNN's Nic Robertson doesn't escape unscathed. "Reporter snaps! Let's do this boys!"
