Student Shot at Indiana Middle School

A male student was shot twice in the stomach outside the cafeteria building this morning at West Middle School in Martinsville, Ind. The victim was taken to the hospital, and the school and all others in the district were put on lockdown, WTHR 13 reports. The suspect is another student, who police believe was angry over an incident that happened at a school dance held over the weekend. They mayor's office says he is in custody; police are searching for the gun near a local K-Mart. (More school shooting stories.)
