One of Osama bin Laden's wives and as many as eight children are in Pakistani custody—including a 12- or 13-year-old daughter who reportedly saw Navy SEALs shoot her father and confirmed it was in fact bin Laden who had been killed. A senior Pakistani intelligence official says the relatives will be interrogated and then likely released to their home country, per Pakistani law. Reuters reports that the group was left behind after a transport helicopter had mechanical issues; the other helicopters, which carried bin Laden's body, male captives, and US forces, were at capacity.
