An iPhone left on the front seat of a stolen truck led to the vehicle's return—and the capture of a burglar suspected of multiple auto break-ins in Colorado Springs. Joshua Mitzelfelt, 29, allegedly stole a truck left unattended and running in a driveway yesterday morning. He was apprehended thanks to the truck owner's iPhone, which allowed the owner to track his vehicle's location though a website monitoring the phone's GPS application.

Officers spotted the truck about seven miles from the owner's residence and arrested the driver. Unfortunately for Mitzelfelt, police were able to link items found in the vehicle to other burglaries in the area. (San Francisco drivers may want to consider this iPhone app.)
