Iman al-Obeidi, the Libyan woman who made headlines when she claimed Moammar Gadhafi's troops raped her, is at a UN refugee center in Romania. Al-Obeidi had gone from Libya to Tunisia to Qatar, but was expelled from Qatar back to Benghazi on Thursday. A UN spokesperson confirmed that al-Obeidi arrived in Romania from Italy on Sunday, unaccompanied, but would not name her final destination.

"She will have the same treatment as other refugees: medical treatment, psychological counseling, and interviews with authorities from the country where she will be relocated," the spokesperson said. "It is a delicate case and I can't say more. She will leave Romania in a maximum of six months." Al-Obeidi's sister, however, said Sunday that al-Obeidi was in the process of being brought to the US.
