Harold Camping has been moved to an Oakland nursing home for rehab as part of his recovery from a stroke he suffered last month. It's unclear, however, whether he will be able to return to his Family Radio network, which has been airing repeats of his Open Forum show. Camping predicted Judgment Day would occur first in 1994 and again in May. His media empire spent millions of dollars, some culled from followers' donations, over seven years on billboards and other publicity for his 2011 predictions about the spiritual Rapture in May, and, when that failed to materialize, the end of the world in October.
