Whoops: A police department email that went out in Indianapolis last Tuesday accidentally included the bra size, height, and weight of 13 female officers. The email, which went out to 37 commanders, asked supervisors to tell their officers they could pick up new protective vests. But a spreadsheet was accidentally attached that included the names and sizes of 91 officers, including 13 women whose chest and waist sizes were included because their vests required special tailoring.
The Metropolitan Police Department deputy chief (who just so happens to be female, but was not the one who sent the email) has since issued a personal apology, but the police union is looking into taking legal action, WTSP reports. The deputy chief did send a subsequent email asking recipients of the original message not to forward the attachment. (More bra stories.)
