Duke pulled off its fourth championship at the Maui Invitational, giving the Blue Devils twice as many titles as the next most-decorated teams in the 24-year-old tournament. The victory came by a hotly contested game against Marquette that came down to Kyle Singler's final field goals, reports the Honolulu Advertiser.

Singler, a freshman who had 25 points and seven rebounds for Duke, walked away with the tournament MVP laurels. Four Marquette starters scored in the double digits, with Lazar Hayward topping the list at 14. "We beat a great opponent," Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said after the game. Duke has previously won the title in 1992, 1997, and 2001. (More NCAA basketball stories.)
