A 45-point first quarter for the Warriors led to a 129-114 victory over the Suns last night, restricting Phoenix's win streak to eight games and handing the resurgent Golden State its sixth win in the last seven games. Stephen Jackson beat his season high with 32 points, and Monta Ellis had 15 consecutive points to start the fourth quarter, AP reports.

Ellis ended up with a career-high 31 points, and Baron Davis added 28 points, 10 assists and six boards to round out the Warriors' scintillating performance. Steve Nash led the Suns with 23 points and 13 assists but offered up eight turnovers, and Grant Hill and Amare Stoudemire each pitched in 17 more points for the Suns. (More NBA stories.)
