The winning coach and several other people were bowled over by a runaway electric cart that raced across the field after a weekend high school football playoff game at Cowboys Stadium. Seven people were treated for minor injuries caused by the cart, which was stopped by a field worker after it raced from the end zone to midfield, the AP reports. Workers were clearing yard markers and pylons when the cart took off, apparently with a pylon jamming its accelerator to the floor.
"We have a disturbance down the field," an announcer said as people tumbled. "Apparently one of the carts on the field got loose and I think there have been some folks injured in this. Oh my! That's like a runaway cart there. And it finally took someone to stop it. That's a scary thing." (More stadium stories.)
