The Houston Rockets were playing for the second of back-to-back nights, and it showed in a lackluster 100-88 loss at Philadelphia. The final score didn't indicate the difference in the teams on this night, as Philly's lead grew to 31 at one point in the third quarter reports the Chronicle. Rockets star Tracy McGrady left the game with a sprained ankle.

Andre Miller had 17 points and 12 assists, while Andre Iguodala scored 16 in the Sixers' third straight win. Houston's defense was poor, letting the Sixers score at will in the paint and allowing points on 11 straight possessions during the second half. Bonzi Wells led the Rockets with 24 points, while Yao Ming chipped in only a dozen. (More NBA stories.)
