A bomb exploded early today outside the Indonesian embassy in Paris. The blast shattered windows and damaged cars, but no one was injured. An embassy worker discovered a package containing the gas cylinder and removed it from the building, reports Reuters. It exploded shortly afterward in the city's elegant 16th district. Indonesia's Foreign Minister said he was deeply concerned about the explosion, and puzzled by the bomber's motive. "We are quite a resilient lot, Indonesians, and I don't think it takes a little explosion to deter us from going on with the business of our activities," he said. (More Paris stories.)
