Quick tip: Do not take your child to a Justin Bieber concert without also bringing along some earplugs. We'd think that would go without saying, what with all the screaming girls in the audience, but one Oregon mom apparently didn't bring along the ear protection … and now she's suing Bieber and related entities for $9.23 million. Stacey Wilson Betts took her daughter to see the Bieb in 2010, and says the shrieking girls were bad enough—but then Justin got into a metal gondola (heart-shape, no less).

He swung out over the crowd and a "frenzy of screams" ensued, allegedly causing permanent damage to her ears. Bieber "created a wave-like effect of screaming by pointing into various sections of the arena," the lawsuit claims. And the gondola then acted as a "sound conductor creating a sound blast," resulting in tinnitus and other hearing damage. You can read the lawsuit and even see a video of Bieber in the gondola at TMZ—or click to find out why Brendan Fraser and Madonna are also getting sued. (More Justin Bieber stories.)
