In his first major interview, George Zimmerman will go on Fox News to be interviewed by Sean Hannity at 9pm today, reports CBS News. "Zimmerman will open up about what happened the night of Trayvon Martin's death and his experience in the aftermath of the fatal shooting," says a Fox statement. Zimmerman is out on bail and awaiting trial on second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of Trayvon.
Zimmerman spoke off-the-record to Hannity by phone in April, one of the moves cited by his original attorneys for dropping the case, notes the Orlando Sentinel. Fox also felt compelled to address online rumors that Hannity offered to pay for Zimmerman's legal defense: "Sean Hannity has never offered to pay any legal fees or any fee associated with George Zimmerman."
