They weren't so much cat burglars as "bear burglars." A mamma bear and her three cubs are believed to have broken into a cabin in Norway, sucked down about 100 cans of beer, and trashed the place, reports the Local. The bears broke in by tearing down a wall, then ate every scrap of food they could find, including marshmallows, chocolate, and honey, and broke all the furniture. "They had a hell of a party in there," said the cabin owner, who cited bear excrement and footprints as the tell-tale signs that they were the culprits. "The cabin has the stench of a right old piss up, trash, and bears."
Unlike those pillagers, however, the bear who recently broke into a chocolate shop in Estes Park, Colo., was downright dainty. Propping open a broken front door, a black bear entered and re-entered a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory seven times over a 20-minute period, gorging himself on a variety of treats, reports Gawker. But this bear left the shop in great condition, and in fact the store owner had to watch security tapes to figure out what had happened to her business. (She thought a squirrel might have gotten into the shop.) "He was very clean and very careful," said the store owner. (More bears stories.)
