Word to the wise: If you're gonna break into someone's house and throw a rager, don't post the pictures to prove it on Facebook. That's what appears to have happened in South Carolina recently, when a family went on vacation around July Fourth, reports WCNC. The father of the family was browsing Facebook three months later when he noticed pictures of teens partying (and puking) in an all-too-familiar setting—his own home. The raucous teens were apparently classmates of his kids, but he was less than amused and tipped off cops.

"The kids came back the next day and cleaned everything up, I guess," says the dad. "They even did the dishes. If someone hadn't been bragging by posting on Facebook, no one ever would have known. They wouldn't have been caught." Further evidence of less-than-savvy use of Facebook: Cops were able to identify the kids via photo tags (More timeless news stories.)
