Lagerfeld Hates Michelle's Bangs

Karl Lagerfeld, never one to pause before voicing his opinions, will have you know that he's no fan of Michelle Obama's new bangs. On a French TV show (on which he was supposed to be discussing Paris Fashion Week), the designer noted, "I don’t understand the change of hair ... Frankly, the fringe was a bad idea. It’s not good." And in a crushing blow to TV journalists everywhere, he also said she now looks like a news anchor, Vanity Fair reports. In the past, Lagerfeld has spoken of his love for Obama's "magical" and "clever" face more than once. Note that he does not feel the same way about Pippa Middleton's face.
