HBO appears to be enjoying life in Westeros (even if nobody in Westeros ever does). The network has signed Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin to a new two-year deal that will see him not just work on the adaptation of his famous fantasy saga, but develop and produce new projects for the network as well, Deadline reports. It's not quite as strange a move for the novelist as it might seem; Martin has a history in television, with back-in-the-day credits on shows like Beauty and the Beast and Twilight Zone.
