It's Tiger in a Romp—Again

The rest of the PGA is on notice, after Tiger Woods finished off a dominating win at the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines, also the site of this year's US Open. Woods coasted through the final round with a 1-under 71 to win the event for the fourth straight year—this time by seven shots over Japan's Ryuji Imada.

Woods' putter was hot today, as it was all week, with two birdies longer than 40 feet. It was his 62nd career win, tying the legendary Arnold Palmer, who noted, "I'm sure there are many, many more coming in the future." One of those could be in June at the Open, on a course where he's won six times professionally. (More PGA Tour stories.)
