Harry Reid is out of the hospital after spending much of the day there suffering from exhaustion. The Senate majority leader finally went home after doctors cleared him to return to work, his spokesman said this evening. Reid was admitted to George Washington University Hospital early in the day after feeling unwell. Doctors diagnosed the 74-year-old as exhausted but found nothing more serious after tests. (It's been a busy week.) In Reid's absence, Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois opened the chamber's last session of the year. (More Harry Reid stories.)
