Shoplifting Bust Ends in Siblings Admitting to Affair

All Charlene Ellet wanted to do, authorities say, was shoplift at a Walmart—but her day went downhill from there. While officers detained the 25-year-old, her brother, Cameron Beck, showed up looking for her, and in his backpack deputies found a "cut pen with a crystal substance on it" that tested positive for methamphetamine, reports Opposing Views via the Montgomery County Police Reporter. So the siblings were carted off to jail, where Beck, 26, asked if his sister could be charged instead of him. Deputies refused and put them in adjoining cells—where the siblings were later seen "kissing each other on the lips through the bars."

Deputies say they separated Ellet from her brother and asked about their relationship. She and Beck share the same mother, Ellet said, but have different fathers, and started a letter-writing relationship when he served prison time. Now they were lovers and liked to have sex in the same motel room as her 2-year-old twins, Ellet admitted, separated by only a partition, or in the bathroom. So Ellet and Beck were charged with prohibited sexual behavior and possession of a controlled substance, and kept in jail.
