(AP Photo/Charlie Neibergall) (Associated Press) The Memphis Tigers' 77-48 win over Southern Methodist seemed to come easily, but the top team's perfect record conceals some problems, reports the Commercial Appeal. Robert Dozier found himself suspended last night due to an assault accusation, Joey Dorsey got punished for last game's lack of effort, and leading scorer Chris Douglas-Roberts played through some harsh sniffles. Elsewhere in hoops: No. 8 Wisconsin fended off Iowa 60-54 with the help of eight straight scoreless minutes from the Hawkeyes, who continued their season-long trend of alternating wins and losses. No. 21 Notre Dame subdued Seton Hall in an 95-69 offensive wave that included 22 points from Luke Harangody, although Jeremy Hazell found 26 points for the Pirates. (More NCAA stories.)
