Two young boys in Brooklyn face serious charges after police say they put rat poison in a teacher's water bottle, reports NBC 4 New York. The 62-year-old female teacher at PS 315 actually drank the tainted water and was treated for nausea and heightened blood pressure but is otherwise OK, reports the New York Post. Another student reportedly saw the boys, ages 9 and 12, drop the pellets in the bottle and told her mother, who alerted the school. The teacher then went to her doctor and on to police. The boys face juvenile charges of attempted assault, criminal possession of a weapon (the poison), and reckless endangerment. (More students stories.)
