Somebody in Mexico who failed to read the instructions is out more than 6 pounds of meth and a $1,400 drone, reports the San Diego Union-Tribune. Police say the battery-operated drone carrying 3 kilos of the drug crashed in a Tijuana parking lot Tuesday night, about a mile from the US border, reports Vice. Authorities say the Spread Wings S900 drone couldn't support the weight of the six attached packages and came down ahead of schedule. Cops in Tijuana guess it was probably being sent between local neighborhoods because it would have stood little chance of making it across the border unnoticed. (More weird crimes stories.)
