Zamboni Driver Busted for DUI
Steven Anderson   (Cass County Jail)

A girls high school hockey game in Fargo, ND, got an extra little dose of excitement Friday in the form of Zamboni driver Steven Anderson, who apparently decided a little booze was in order out on the ice. "Some of the parents noticed the driver appeared to be impaired," the rink's HR director tells ABC News, citing Anderson's "erratic behavior." Police were called, and Anderson was arrested mid-game on suspicion of DUI. The coaches decided to continue playing on rough ice, notes the Duluth News Tribune. Anderson's out on bail now, but could face 30 days in the pokey and a fine of up to $1,000. He's also out of a job. "I don’t want to in any way dismiss how serious this is," says the HR director, who adds "this is the first time we've experienced this." (This is far from the first time this has happened.)
