Police in Gambell, Alaska, were trying to figure out who stole 80 frozen pizzas from a local store when the phone rang. The caller wondered if the officers at the station would be interested in buying some frozen pizzas. And just like that, the great Gambell pizza heist was solved. John Koozaata, 29, and Lewis Oozeva, 21, are behind bars on burglary and theft charges, reports Alaska Dispatch News. The pizzas were worth more than $1,100, and 75 have been recovered. The other five? Koozaata and Oozeva admitted eating them, reports KTVA. (More weird crimes stories.)
