Did Something 'Heinous' Occur at Rocker's Home?

Los Angeles police served a search warrant at the home of KISS rocker Gene Simmons yesterday, and while the details are sparse, the probe is being handled by the LAPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Officers say "no one in the Simmons family is a suspect in this investigation," per NBC News. In a statement, Simmons' rep says a crime may have taken place at the home last year while Simmons was away on tour.

An LAPD officer tells the Los Angeles Times that "Simmons and his family were extremely cooperative," but neither the department nor the family has disclosed who the target of the investigation is. "We couldn't be more horrified that someone used our residence for such heinous crimes," Simmons' wife, Shannon Tweed, wrote on Twitter, adding, "don't forget to change your passwords!"
