Apparently Sam Smith was just pulling our collective leg. The British singer who has repeatedly denied singing the theme song for the new James Bond flick, says the song will in fact be out on Sept. 25, reports NME. "This has been top secret mission of my own," says Smith, who wrote "Writing on the Wall" for the 24th Bond film, Spectre, in 20 minutes and recorded it in January. "This is one of the highlights of my career," he adds on Instagram. "I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations." The movie will be out on Nov. 6 in the US, reports the Verge.
