How JLaw Congratulated Amy Schumer on Her Win

Only good friends will point out things that no one else would, like if the guy you're dating is terrible, if you've got something stuck in your teeth, or how you looked onstage accepting your Emmy. Jennifer Lawrence had some definite opinions for Amy Schumer after Schumer took home the award for best variety sketch series for Inside Amy Schumer at the awards gala last night.

"Jennifer sent me a really sweet text," Schumer told Entertainment Tonight after the show. "She said that I looked pretty but not smart." Schumer didn't seem offended by JLaw's armchair image advisement, continuing on about how "she's the real deal funny" and noting that the two of them, along with Schumer's sister, wrote a movie together and that "we're gonna hopefully be shooting that in a year or something. We're busy!" (They've also danced on Billy Joel's piano and ridden a jet ski together.)
