Kaleigh Hansen must have the magic touch. The massage therapist at the Northern Lights Spa at Anchorage's Ted Stevens International Airport says she gave a Colorado man a basic one-hour massage on Sept. 27 as he waited for a flight back home after a hunting trip, per KTUU. But when he went to pay for the $120 service, he handed her a check for $5,000 as a tip. "I grabbed the piece of paper and ... just looked at him," Hansen says. The man later assured her coworkers he didn't mistakenly add one to two extra zeros. Hansen says she plans to perform random acts of kindness with the money. "Like if I'm getting coffee I'll pay for the person behind me," she says. (More massage stories.)
