Woman Shot by Dog ... Named Trigger

If you name your dog Trigger, you're sort of tempting fate. And in the case of one Indiana woman, fate came back to bite her in the butt. Or, more accurately, shoot her in the foot. Allie Carter, 25, was hunting with her labrador retriever, the aforementioned Trigger, when she put her 12-gauge shotgun on the ground Saturday, the Indianapolis Star reports. The safety was off, Trigger stepped on the gun and released the very thing he was named after, and Carter got shot in the left foot. She was treated and released, the AP reports.
