Snow Kidding: 5 Craziest Crimes of the Week

A fouled-up gas-stealing attempt and car that drew double-takes are among the weirdest stories of the week:

• Worst Clearing-Snow-Off-a-Car Attempt Ever: If you happened to be driving around Brussels, Ontario, this week and saw what appeared to be a small igloo driving around, you may have witnessed an 80-year-old man who said he was too old and weak to brush the snow off his car before going for a drive. The cop did give him one break, however.
• Gas Siphoning Goes Very, Very Wrong: Turns out that stealing gas from a bus is more nuanced than one might think. Cops say the perps tried to remove gas using the tried-and-true siphoning method, but they picked the sewage tank instead. Can you say "bitter taste?" Based on the police quotes, cops are more amused than anything.

• Cops: Man Intentionally Caused 22 Crashes: A Utah man is facing felony charges after allegedly getting into nearly two dozen car accidents on purpose in order to collect the insurance money. Cops say Navid Monjazeb had his system down pat once the "accident" took place.
• Warrants Issued for Men Dancing 'Outrageously': Two arrest warrants in the United Arab Emirates are making headlines given the unusual nature of the crime: crazy dancing. The men were said to be "making outrageous physical movements" while dressed in military uniform, and while the video is gone, theories are circulating as to what kind of dances they were doing.
• Burger King Worker Has Heated Reaction to Getting Fired: No one likes getting fired, but least of all this 24-year-old. When Timothy Alejandro Ortiz was let go from his job at a Florida Burger King, he was supposed to hand in his uniform and leave quietly. Police say he set it on fire instead. Doesn't sound like he reacted well when cops showed up at the house, either.
