Cruz Looking at Fiorina for Veep Pick

Ted Cruz's campaign has confirmed that he's looking at potential VP picks, including a former rival who says she's "horrified" by Donald Trump: Carly Fiorina. "He is vetting a number of solid candidates, and certainly Ms. Fiorina is absolutely one of them," Cruz campaign chief Chad Sweet tells CNN. "She's one of the most talented business leaders of modern times."

A Fiorina spokeswoman tells the Weekly Standard that the former Hewlett-Packard CEO has provided the Cruz team with "normal stuff" like financial disclosures. Cruz said Monday that the campaign is "examining both a long list and now a shorter list" and no decisions have been made on a candidate or the timing of any announcement, ABC reports.
