Johnny Manziel turned himself in on domestic violence charges Wednesday in Texas before immediately posting bond, ABC News reports. According to Yahoo Sports, the bond was $1,500. The former Cleveland Browns quarterback is accused of hitting his now ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley during an argument in January. He was indicted by a grand jury last month. Manziel, 23, faces up to a year in jail and a $4,000 fine. He's scheduled to have his first hearing Thursday, and a lawyer says Manziel plans to plead not guilty. The former Heisman winner was dropped by the Browns in March, and Yahoo states he "has managed to party and drink himself out of the NFL." (More Johnny Manziel stories.)
