Beer Family Scion Busted for Underage Drinking

A 17-year-old member of the Anheuser-Busch beer family was busted yesterday and charged with underage drinking, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Hardly shocking, perhaps, except for what Adolphus August Busch V was drinking: Natural Light. Though the frat house favorite is one of the company's products, it's surely a far cry from the company's flagship brands—and gets a D- from Beer Advocate.

Busch is a grandson of the late August "Gussie" Busch Jr., but, as neither he nor his parents are involved with the brewery, the home office had no comment. Police said they found "an abundance of open beer cans" when they arrived at a suburban St. Louis apartment yesterday and arrested nine 17- to 19-year-olds. (More Adolphus August Busch V stories.)
