Rudy Giuliani is one of Donald Trump's leading surrogates, but his daughter has made it very clear that she won't be joining him on the Trump train. "I can confirm that I do support Hillary Clinton for president. Enthusiastically," Caroline Giuliani tells the New York Daily News. "I love Hillary, I think she's by far the most qualified candidate that we've had in a long while," the 27-year-old tells Politico, adding that her dad is "fully comfortable with it and thinks I have a right to my opinion." Caroline Giuliani supported Obama in 2012 and in the 2008 race, when her dad was also running for president.
The former New York City mayor hasn't commented on the political leanings of his daughter, who has changed her profile picture to include Clinton's campaign logo. He has, however, announced that he's taking leave from Greenberg Traurig LLP, the law firm he joined earlier this year, to concentrate on the Trump campaign, the Wall Street Journal reports. Giuliani says he plans to return to the firm the day after the election. (The Commercial Finance Association had to apologize to its members for the "unscripted personal opinions" about Mexicans that Giuliani included in a speech last month.)
