Stocks are closing mostly higher on Wall Street, led by high dividend payers including real estate companies and utilities, the AP reports. Consumer companies also rose Wednesday, and bond yields reached a four-month high. Energy stocks fell along with prices for crude oil and natural gas. Chevron fell 1%. The Dow Jones industrial average eked out a gain of 15 points, or 0.1%, to 18,144. The Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 2 points, or 0.1%, to 2,139.
