Bookstore to Customers: Put Your Phone Away

Looking for a respite from the constant presence of mobile devices in the world around you? Look no further than Wind City Books in Casper, Wyo.,, where a sign on the door proudly proclaims that the store has no WiFi, and asks customers to leave smartphones, tablets, laptops, and the like in their bags: "Take a break. Live like it's 1993. Emails can wait." Owner Vicki Burger says she's trying to get customers to, you know, read books, KTRK reports.
