Chelsea Clinton has been increasingly vocal on Twitter of late, slamming President Trump and his advisers alike. Of course, that has led to a slew of speculation that Clinton plans to get into politics—and over at the Observer, Michael Sainato says that if she does, it "would be a disaster for the Democratic Party." What the party needs is to move on from the unpopular Clinton dynasty, not add to it. Trump's election proves that the party lacks a connection with working and middle class voters, and another Clinton in a political office would only widen that gap.

Doubling down on her flawed strategy, partnering with wealthy elites and establishment celebrities to 'get things done,' continues to show Americans that the Democratic Party belongs to the top 1%," Sainato writes. Plus, a Chelsea Clinton political campaign almost guarantees the scandals and unpopular policies related to both her parents will continue to be in the limelight. Click for his full column.
