It was recently reported Amazon wanted its new Echo product to look at you; now it wants you to look at its even newer Echo. The Verge reports Amazon unveiled the $229.99 Echo Show on Tuesday. Like the original Echo, the Echo Show has a voice-controlled assistant named Alexa that will answer your questions, play music, and what have you. It also has a 7-inch screen that can play videos, show recipe steps, display song lyrics, act as a digital picture frame, and more. The biggest change is the addition of Alexa Calling, which will allow users to make web-based phone calls—with video—from their Echo, according to TechCrunch. The Echo Show starts shipping June 28.
