Eric Bolling has been suspended by Fox News amid allegations he sent photos of a penis to multiple female colleagues. The allegations were first reported Friday by HuffPost, which spoke to 14 sources to confirm the existence of the photo and who sent it. Sources say Bolling, who has been at Fox News since 2007, sent the photo to at least two colleagues at Fox Business and one at Fox News several years ago on different occasions. The women are current and former colleagues and say the photo was both unsolicited and upsetting. One woman says she told Bolling to never send something like that again.
The HuffPost report caught Fox News by surprise. On Saturday, it opened an investigation into the allegations and suspended Bolling, NBC News reports. The host's lawyer says "Bolling recalls no such inappropriate communications, does not believe he sent any such communications." The investigation is being conducted by the same law firm that has investigated other recent allegations at Fox News. Bill O'Reilly and the late Roger Ailes both left the network amid sexual misconduct allegations, and Fox Business Network suspended host Charles Payne last month over allegations he coerced and threatened a female political analyst into a sexual relationship.
