It wasn't just her Best Actress Oscar that made the last year a good one for Emma Stone. She also took home more money than at any other point in her career, becoming the highest-paid actress in Hollywood based on pre-tax earnings between June 2016 and June 2017, per Forbes. Close behind is Jennifer Aniston, who starred in The Yellow Birds, though most of her earnings came from endorsement deals with the Emirates airline, Smartwater, and Aveeno. Rounding out the top five:
- Emma Stone: $26 million
- Jennifer Aniston: $25.5 million
- Jennifer Lawrence: $24 million
- Melissa McCarthy: $18 million
- Mila Kunis: $15.5 million
