The lineup at this year's Cannes Film Festival was unveiled today, and the schedule is packed with Hollywood films, Variety reports. Steven Soderbergh and Clint Eastwood both have films in contention, and the release of the new Indiana Jones movie, though not for competition, is likely to be the biggest premiere at the May event.
Meanwhile, Woody Allen will be premiering his Vicky Cristina Barcelona, also not in competition. Only one Chinese film will be showing at the festival, possibly because of a bottleneck in the Chinese censorship agency, Variety notes. The Israeli film Waltz With Bashir, an animated feature about the 1982 invasion of Lebanon, is also on the slate. (More film stories.)
